If you're into the flat tracker look then this Harley 1200S should tick all the boxes. This Twin Plug Head model is pretty trick ! - 19" Wheels (front & back), Super Trap high level pipes, adjustable front & back suspension and a Dyna 2000i ignition system. The bike is finished in Gulf Racing blue with the traditional orange stripe.
When we picked it up, the bike had no lights so only a daytime ticket. We wanted it to be fully road legal so decided it had to carry some lights. Challenge was to not compromise the all out flat track look and feel.
We got to work on it and put a whole new wiring loom through the bike. Starting from the back, an oval shaped tail light discreetly hidden under the rear mudguard. We went into stealth mode with the indicators using the rear mudguard bolts as brackets!
Opting for a vintage feel we went with an orange tinged single front light to compliment the racing stripe.
All in all challenge accepted !
